Why are we doing this?
We have received a lot of feedback from organizations who would like more flexibility in the way they manage governance and assignation in a circle. So we’ve made it.
There are many different methods and many options to implement self-management (Holacracy, Sociocracy 3.0, Organic Organization...). Most of the time, companies need to adapt the fundamental process of these frameworks - and organize in a way unique to its needs and context.
It is not uncommon to hear requests such as:
- “I want to implement this model, but I want to drastically change some of its fundamental processes.”
- “I need more/less structure for certain processes in my organization.”
At the end, organizations are seeking flexibility. That is why we wanted to help simplify the customization of processes.
The goal is to be able to support all kinds of self-organization methodology. We want Holaspirit to be as agile and flexible just as your teams are.
What are the improvements?
We’ve redesigned the circle settings with everything you need to build a flexible circle. You can now update the settings of your circle and select the governance decision-process and assignation rules.
You can create your own circle scheme and define what is the appropriate role for assigning members, what are the elected roles, how the circle should manage governance decision-making process.
Each circle in your organization can configure its settings autonomously and independently of the settings defined for the entire organization.
These updates finally give you the power and flexibility to create adaptive governance for circles —all while improving team efficiency. You just have to find the best fit for your circle’s processes!
